Summit YMCA child care programs provide assistance to working parents who are looking for fun, safe,

affordable and high-quality care for their children. 

Fundamentally, what these programs provide is a home-away-from-home for kids from single-parent or dual-career families.  All Summit Area YMCA Child Care programs are fully licensed by the State of NJ

Kindergarten Child Care

A wrap around program designed to complement

your child'skindergarten experience.

We offer morning and afternoon sessions.  Curriculum includes wim  lessons, group games, cooking, arts and crafts, rock climbing and physical education.  Class folows the school calendar. Minimum enrollment, 2 days per week. Children are bused from Summit Elementary schools and Salt Brook School.

Monday-Friday, 8:30 to 11:30 am

Monday-Friday, 11:30 am to 3:00pm

Extended care available, 3:00 to 6:00 PM

Fees per month:

5 days:$445

4 days: $380

3 days: $330

2 days:$265

Rates include scheduled half-days. Rates do not include days when school is closed.

All-day child care days will be a seperate fee of $45 per day.

Afterschool Programs

Grades K-6

This after-school program for school-aged children offers a variety of

recreational, educational and enrichment activities.

Our curriculum includes homework time, sports, drama, arts and crafts and cooking as well as provide the opportunity for swimming and rock climbing.

Monday-Friday, 3:00-6:00 pm

Extended care available from 6:00-6:30 pm

Fees per month:

5 days: $360

4 days: $330

3 days: $295

2 days: $245

Rates include scheduled half days.  Rates do not include days when school is closed. 

All-day child care days will be a separate fee of $45 per day
