Health & Wellness: Personal Fitness,and Nutrition Counseling



The Y is committed to offering the best services to our members, based on the belief that there are countless benefits to incorporating exercise into your life. In this effort, we have designed programs that assist members who are looking to make a commitment to their health and wellness.

Personal Training
Work one-on-one with a nationally certified instructor. Programs designed to specifically meet the individual's goals.

Fitness Assessement Program
Open to Members
Using the latest scientific Microfit equipment, you can have us assesses your body composition (body weight and body fat), blood pressure, heart rate, flexibility, muscular strength, and cardio-respiratory efficiency (VO2).  The results will be reviewed with you. Nutrition Counseling
Whether you are looking to lose weight, find out what foods will help you as you workout, are looking for a specific disease related diet or just want to find out to eat healthy - meet with our staff nutritionist to develop a plan to meet your needs and help you make changes you can live with specific to your needs. STRIVE TO LOSE - Our Nutrition Counseling program
Learn to incorporate fitness and nutrition strategies intor your current lifestyle through this 8-week program designed to educate and motivate you toward a healthy weight goal.  Each class will include a 45-minute nutrition lecture followed by a circuit workoyt using the Strive strength training equipment. Nutrition Lectures
A year-long lecture series covering number of different topics including eating on a busy schedule, dieting, sports, and more. Take a look upcoming events.

Two-On-One Training
