Class Registration
Registration is online or in person for members. Registration is in-person only for non-members.. Registration is based on availability
of class space. Registration takes place on posted dates for each session. Fee must be paid in full at the time of
registration.
Registration takes place two weeks prior to the session
start date. Notification to members and community is
through Program Guides.
Due to limited space, we are unable to hold a spot
in programs and classes until payment is made.
Class Cancellations
Classes may be cancelled due to low enrollment. If the
YMCA cancels a class, participants may choose another
class or receive a full refund. Cancellation decisions
will be made 2 days before class begins. If the Y cancels
a class, participants will receive a full refund. There
are no refunds if participant withdraws from a class
after it begins.
Program Credit and Refund Policy

- A $10 service charge applies to all refunds.
- Program Cancellations by participant must be made in writing.
- Credits are valid for 12 months from date of issue.
- Credits may be used at any branch of the Summit Area YMCA.
- Programs cancelled by the YMCA will be made available for full refund or credit.
- Participant program cancellation any time up to five (5) days before the first class will result in a full refund minus the $10 service charge.
- Participant program cancellation less than five (5) days before the first class will result in 50% refund minus the $10 service charge.
- Participant program cancellation on or after the first day of class does not qualify for a credit or refund unless the YMCA is provided with a doctor’s note, refund will be pro-rated for missed classes.
- Cancellation policy is subject to change.
- Classes are subject to cancellation due to low enrollment.
- Credit/Refund may take up to two (2) weeks to process
Code Of Conduct
Everyone in the facility needs to understand that the
YMCA is dedicated to the welfare of all participants.
In order to maintain a consistent and cooperative environment,
the management of the YMCA asks members to:
Refrain from the use of foul language.
- Avoid inappropriate actions and behaviors.
- Recognize sportsman-like conduct, fair play, and
mutual cooperation.
Failure to observe this code may result in a termination
of privileges.
